Their peel has a coarse appearance, as it is thick and rough, their pulp is fine, with very few seeds and quite juicy, the pigmentation can range from orange to intense red.
The dogwood has been little appreciated by Italian markets for years, due to its coarse appearance and predominantly medium/small size.
Today, thanks to countless studies on blood orange, Sanguinello has become one of the most requested oranges, especially from foreign markets.
