The Navel is a blond-fleshed orange with excellent qualities. The Bellino Navel orange is distinguished by its particularly sweet fruit and consequent low acidity. It is ovoid in shape, has a thick, pale orange rind, and seedless flesh that is more fibrous than other varieties (almost "crunchy" at the beginning of ripening), with a moderate juice yield. The fruit is untreated on the peel, and the plant is not subjected to any treatment that could accelerate or delay ripening.
