"Sugo alla Norma" is the emblem of Sicilian cuisine.
The à la norma sauce was cooked for the first time in Catania.
It is a perfect harmony of a few simple and intense Mediterranean flavours: the base is a fresh tomato sauce and very fragrant basil; Added to this are the unmistakable fried aubergines (golden and crunchy), which give richness and substance to the dish.
The final touch we suggest is a generous grated seasoned salted ricotta, which with its flavor balances the sweetness of the tomato and oil.

It is a dish of such "perfect" goodness that legend has it that it was named in homage to Vincenzo Bellini's famous opera: "Norma".

È già il secondo anno che acquisto da loro, prendo sempre le arance della qualità di stagione pezzatura grossa e le mangio sia così che spremute, sono buonissime. Ho smesso di comprarle al supermercato perché non c’è paragone! Pompelmo rosa ottimo e gli avocadi sono mondiali! Ormai acquisto la frutta solo da loro! Ho provato anche altri siti di arance siciliane ma le loro sono le migliori.
